The tribute video began with a compilation of photos from the show's final episode aired over the weekend, with Melai narrating touching and funny commentaries for each finalist.

“Para sa aming 8 grand finalists ng Pilipinas Got Talent Season 7,” Melai said in a voice over.

She first congratulated Manza, who wowed the audience with his aerial stunts, saying, “Let’s start kay Manza kung saan hindi na kailangan ng ‘MANZA’nilla  para lumipad. Keep soaring high, Manza! Ang galing mo!”

Next was Jessie J, known for his record-breaking acrobatic performance: “Para kay Jessie J  na hindi lang nagtatumbling, nagmemake-up din. Char lang. Galingan mo Jessie J! Nakasuporta lang kami sa’yo.”

Melai then praised fire exhibitionist JB Bangcaya, “Kay JB Bangcaya naman na nagpabaliktad na makita lang ang galing sa apoy. Baligtaran mo na ang lahat, huwag lang ang ‘kuan.’”

Melai also playfully referred to magician Ody Sto. Domingo as Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta. Maria, sharing, “Kay Ody Sto. Domingo naman na muntik ko na matawag na Jodi Sta. Maria kaya napa-OD wow (edi wow) na lang ako sa galing.”

Giving a proud shoutout to her fellow General Santos natives, Melai praised dance troupe NDDU GNRLS. “Sa NDDU GNRLS na talagang laban kung laban, always remember na ang galing niyo at iyan din ang sabi ng mga ina niyo.”

Referring to Carl Quion, who gave an impressive magic act featuring a tribute to Comedy King Dolphy, she quipped, “To Carl Quion na ibinalik ang oras at binuhay ang (Philippines) King of Comedy, indeed you’re a doctor sa iyong outfit.”

Melai also expressed pride in Femme MNL, the golden buzzer act she and co-host Robi Domingo chose:

“To Femme MNL na golden buzzer namin ni Robi D, sobrang proud kami sa inyo. Ang layo na ng narating niyo, hanggang Bulacan na,” she expressed.

She concluded her tribute with a special message to the show’s grand winner, Cardong Trumpo:

“To our grand winner, Tatay Cardong Trumpo, ang mukha ng mga Pilipino, lahat masaya (para) sa iyo kahit mga kalaban mo. Kaya sana makikihati ang pamilya ko sa panalo mo,” she said.

Last weekend, Cardong Trumpo, a spinning top exhibitionist from Dasmariñas, Cavite, made history as the first act to receive an almost perfect score in the finale of Pilipinas Got Talent. He garnered a combined score of 99.5% from the judges and public votes, securing the championship title.

Femme MNL placed second with 50.4%, while Carl Quion came in third with 47.8%.

As this season’s grand champion, Cardong Trumpo took home the ₱2 million grand prize. Femme MNL received ₱150,000, while Carl Quion brought home ₱100,000.
