Kapuso actresses Kylie Padilla and Kazel Kinouchi are on the same page when it comes to love life.
Kazel confidently answered “yes” when asked by Boy Abunda if she’s currently in a relationship, while Kylie admitted that someone is making her heart happy now.
Reflecting on their previous romantic relationships, they shared how their perceptions of love have evolved over time.
“Na-experience ko na kasi before ‘yung talagang wala kang ititira sa sarili mo, but that’s wrong. You lose yourself just to make someone happy, and in the long run, masisira ka,” Kazel said.
Meanwhile, Kylie, who came from a failed marriage, shared a profound reflection on love.
“I’m trying something new kasi ako, hindi ko na-survive ‘yung ganong nangyari sa akin — alam niyo naman lahat ‘yun,” she said. “So, I’m trying something new where I’m trying to understand how God would love. If God can love me, forgive me, and come from a place na hindi nauubos, baka kaya ko rin.”
“Lagi akong nagdadasal na ‘teach me how to love the way you do.’ Kasi I don’t wanna be shaped by the bad things that traumatized me or hurt me. Para din sa mga anak ko ‘yun. I want my kids to see that no matter what happens to you, you still should come from a place of love,” she added.

In the same interview, Kazel made a statement about cheating, which she finds common in men.
“I think it’s with men,” she said. “I don’t wanna speak for all men. (Pero) wala akong kilalang lalaki na hindi nag-cheat. Kahit siguro ‘yung mga naging super family man na ngayon or like may kilala ako na super religious, kahit noong bata sila nag-cheat sila at some point in their lives.”
Despite this perception in men, Kazel said that she still trusts men and that she’s capable of giving second chances.

“Hindi lang, third, fourth, fifth,” she jokingly said when asked about her take on second chances. But she reaffirmed her answer, saying: “Of course, hanggang kaya [ko] naman.”
Kylie and Kazel did not go into details regarding the identities of the lucky men in their lives.
