Actor Mark Neumann took a break from showbiz to focus on his most important role yet — being a father.
In an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Mark shared why he chose to step away for a while to prioritize fatherhood.

“My son is six years old. And it's just one (child) pa lang naman. So I wanted to step aside to take care properly of my son. And also do some business on the side and learn other things in life,” he shared.
Mark admitted that becoming a father to his son, Martin, helped him discover new things about himself.
“Well, patience was stretched a lot because every child is different, every father has a different technique. Whatever you were able to pick up from your childhood, you take it and then you improve on it to become a better father and basically become a better version of yourself,” Mark said.
In a previous interview, Mark revealed that he is a single dad and is in a co-parenting setup with his child’s mother.
Now officially back in the acting scene, Mark is set to take on a kontrabida role in the upcoming film Beyond The Call of Duty. He also revealed which Kapamilya series he hopes to join in if given the chance.
“Incognito sounds awesome. Because, you know, I see that they use foreign stuff. So, I'm German, basically. So, I speak German. I do have some language skills if they need that. And action, weapons, I have no problem because I did that before. I trained before with weapons and martial arts. So I have no problem with that. And I mostly do my own stunts. Before I was very active. I did martial arts training, then football, parkour, all that stuff before when I was younger. Now, I'm about to get back to it,” Mark said.
Mark was last seen on television in the 2017 action-fantasy series La Luna Sangre, which also starred Daniel Padilla. Two years later, in 2019, he took on a more mature role in the digital series Mga Batang Poz.
