Actress-turned-entrepreneur Kiray Celis shared her experience planning her upcoming wedding to longtime boyfriend Stephan Estopia.
"Nagulat ako kasi ang dami palang preparation sa kasal. Hindi ko in-expect na kailangan pala sa venue one year ang preparations na kailangan magpa-book ka," Kiray shared in an interview with Julius Babao for his latest YouTube vlog.
Kiray initially hoped to get married in December, but scheduling proved to be a challenge. "'Yung gusto ko na date 'yung ina-eye... ang hirap po, fully booked na. Ang dami pong gustong ikasal ng December tapos sobrang busy pa ng mga tao, kasi 'yung mga Christmas party kaya wala na sa gusto ko," she stated.
Despite the setback, the wedding will still push through this year which will be held in Manila for accessibility.
Kiray shared that she’s already finalized her list of godparents and bridesmaids, saying: "Actually inuna ko pa nga ninong, ninang, bridesmaid ko, ganyan, kasi sinecure ko na lalo na very intimate lang 'to."
She highlighted that she wants the wedding to remain personal, opting for a guest list made up of close friends and family.
"Tinanong ako ng wedding coordinator ko kung gusto ko ba star-studded. Siyempre trending ka kapag star-studded," she said. "Pero iniisip ko na lang gusto ko ka-close ko lang talaga, 'yung mga mahal ko lang talaga na kilala ako, kilala [si Stephan], para masarap lang hindi 'yung kailangang may asikasuhin ka. Parang ano lang talaga, sobrang close, tropa-tropa lang talaga 'yung nandun."
In the same interview, Stephan relayed that he is already looking forward to begin a new chapter with Kiray.
"Masaya po sobra. Nakaka-pressure din minsan kasi... ito na ako, kumbaga ito na 'yung nakikita ko na parang ito na 'yun, papasok na ako sa panibagong chapter. Nagre-ready din naman ako kahit papaano," he stated.

It was in April when Kiray announced her engagement to Stephan.
"Ang CEO ng Hot Babe, Hello Bloom at Day-Li ay ENGAGED na!!! 🥲🥰" Kiray announced on social media on Monday, April 21.
As seen in the photos that Kiray posted, their loved ones were also present during the proposal.
