Former beauty queen and actress Charlene Gonzalez received an outpouring of love and sweet birthday messages from family and friends as she celebrated her 51st birthday on Friday, May 2.
On social media, Charlene’s daughter, Atasha Muhlach, expressed her deep appreciation and affection for her “momma.”
“Happiest Birthday to my beautiful Momma @itsmecharleneg 🤍 No words can describe how much we love you. Thank you for everything,” the young actress wrote.
Atasha also added how her mom inspires her and how she wants to be like her when she grows older.
“You inspire us and the people around you every single day with your kindness and heart. To the strongest person I know, I hope to one day be like you when I’m older,” Atasha said.
She went on: “I love you so so much and wishing you the happiest birthday!! 🎂 you deserve all the cake in the world!! Nom nom nom happy birthday!!”
In the comment section, Charlene’s husband, actor Aga Muhlach also greeted: “Happy birthday my love!!! ❤️❤️❤️.”
Aga’s brother, actor Andrew Muhlach, joined in the celebration with his message, “Happy birthday ate charls!!! See u soon.”

Theater and sitcom actress Kim Molina also greeted Charlene by posting a nostalgic throwback photo of Charlene as Dyesebel.
“Happy birthday my dear ate 'Dyesebel' @itsmecharleneg! 💕 This was my 1st photo taken with her on my 1st day on the set of #DaPersFamily,” Kim expressed.
Kim also shared how she was a fan of Charlene's, saying, “Actresses on the set, but I just had to take a minute and ask for a photo with her as my fangirl '90s mermaid heart was screaming deep inside 🤭 ILY ate! Enjoy your day! Love, 'Hannah' / your little @mermaidhiraya 🧜♀️🫶 #Dyesebel1996”
Charlene warmly responded, “Aww.. Thank you Kim ❤️ Love you 😍❤️😍.”
Kim and Charlene currently work together in a family sitcom starring Charlene, Aga and their children, Atasha and Andres Muhlach.

Television writer Darla Sauler also penned a heartfelt birthday tribute, calling Charlene “one of the kindest and most genuine friends in the industry.”

Charlene first rose to fame after winning the Binibining Pilipinas Universe title in 1994. She proudly represented the Philippines in the Miss Universe pageant, where she won the Best National Costume award and landed a spot in the Top 6.
She later transitioned to hosting, with popular TV programs such as Eezy Dancing (1997), Keep On Dancing (1998), and ABS-CBN lifestyle show At Home Ka Dito (2004).
