Fil-British actor Jameson Blake admitted he was surprised when he found out what the script for Flower Girl was all about.
“Yung initial reaction ko was ‘What?’ I was reading the script and that’s what I said. Pero I like challenges and it was not your typical storyline that you see in movies and when I saw that Sue (Ramirez) was part of the film, I said yes right away. I know it was a sensitive project for me and her pero it became smooth and I’m comfortable doing a project like this with her,” he told PUSH ABS-CBN in an exclusive interview.
In his latest role, Jameson said he enjoyed working again with his Ang Babaeng Allergic Sa WiFi co-star Sue Ramirez again.
“I play the role of Dick dito sa Flower Girl. I can’t really say much but I meet Ena (played by Sue Ramirez) through a dating app and we discover things about each other. May mga revelations na hindi ko puwede sabihin. I enjoyed doing the project. It was really fun. At first, I found it a bit silly and weird because it was new to me. Out of the box para sa akin. Pero I was willing to take up the challenge and do this project with Sue,” he said.

Apart from Flower Girl, Jameson is also slated to work with Sue on another project this year, which he is looking forward to.
“It’s not the first time I’m working with Sue so it was fun. Sue just has a genuine and fun personality in all my projects where I’ve worked with her. We’re good. By this time, I’m more comfortable with her. Doing this with her is pretty new kasi our last project together was more wholesome. We’re stepping outside of the box. And it was challenging din kasi for this kind of story, you also have to know who you’ll be working with and when I found out it was Sue, I said yes. I’m comfortable with her. Our projects din before were fun and successful din. And there’s more to come actually,” he added.

Jameson also shared his experience working with Flower Girl writer and director Fatrick Tabada for the first time. “He’s actually quiet sa set and really low-key sa set. He would just give us instructions before our scenes pero it had a big impact already. Parang he had that trust in us na kaya namin dalhin yung scene without a lot of instructions and it worked out. Me and Sue enjoyed each scene. it was my first time working with him and it was fun also,” he admitted.

Apart from Sue, Jameson revealed which Kapamilya actress is on top of his wish list of co-stars in the future. “Honestly, I’ve worked with a lot of leading ladies, actress and actors. But one actress I want to work with someday is Ms. Jodi Sta. Maria. One day if there’s a nice project. I just find her a good actress.I’ve never worked with her yet so it would be nice if I could,” he shared.
More than doing romance and drama, the 27-year-old actor also hopes to get to work in other genres in future projects. “I would like to do a project with something related to let’s say like back in time, maybe 1800s, something historical. I think I would like to venture into that genre. And also, more action. I want to try something with action. I haven’t really done full-on action. Pero that’s one of my dreams for now,” he added.
