Andres Muhlach did not let Ashtine Olviga’s special day slip away without expressing his birthday wishes for her.
In two consecutive Instagram stories on Monday night, May 19, Andres honored his onscreen partner who celebrated her 26th birthday.
“Hi Ash, of course (I) won’t let this day pass without greeting you. Happy birthday to my mutya,” Andres captioned his Instagram story.
“Happy birthday, Jay-jay,” he wrote in another Instagram story, calling Ashtine by her character’s name in their digital series Ang Mutya Ng Section E.
In a virtual interview he attended on the same day, Andres expressed a heartfelt message for the actress.
“Deserve mo lahat ng nangyayari sa buhay mo ngayon,” he said. “You know, the way you treat people around you is talagang nakakahanga. The type of person that you are is super impressive. Lahat ng maganda at mabuti sa buhay mo, mangyayari talaga.”
“I will always be here for you. Happy birthday,” he added.
In a 2024 interview with ABS-CBN News, Andres described his work relationship with Ashtine when they were just starting out as a love team.

“It feels really good. Tuwing may eksena kami ni Ash, kinililig ako,” he said.
Meanwhile, the actress said in the same interview that she considered Andres as an “answered prayer.”
“Marami na ako naging ka-love team pero si Andres yung nag-click po talaga. 'Di ko inexpect. Siyempre Andres Muhlach na yan. sobrang grateful. Parang answered prayer. May kilig,” she said.
Last March, Andres was recognized as Best New Male TV Personality at the 38th PMPC Star Awards for Television — the first ever accolade he received in the showbiz industry.
Andres dedicated his victory to his fans and expressed his gratitude on social media following the awarding.
“I read every one of your messages and comments from the very beginning, and I am truly overjoyed,” he expressed. “I appreciate each and every one of you. Your time, love, and support mean the world to me, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

The rising actor also ventured into music last March, releasing a rendition of classic Hotdog song, “Ikaw Ang Miss Universe Ng Buhay Ko.”
