Actors Barbie Forteza and Jerald Napoles just completed a 16-kilometer run earlier this week. The two celebrities were part of the thousands that joined the Lights Camera Run last May 11 at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
Both Barbie and Jerald completed their personal goals in the 16-kilometer run.

For the actor, he expressed how he officially has a personal record in the 16-kilometer run after almost two months since he began his journey in running. He finished his run in an hour and 38 minutes–– nearing 6 minutes per kilometer.
“ALMOST 2 months since I started running, and now, an official 16 km PR. The best part is celebrating and running with friends in the industry,” he wrote.
Jerald shared several photos of his successful run alongside other celebrities who joined the race such as Kapamilya stars Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino, Kapuso royalty Dingdong Dantes, and news personality Kim Atienza, among others.
“Maraming salamat din sa mga naki-takbo, ang saya nyo kasabay at kasalubong. Now, off to the next run,” Jerald added.
Meanwhile, Barbie expressed how ecstatic she was in being able to join the fun run that also serves as a message to the public to support local films. She added that this was her first 16-kilometer run–– she had a total time of one hour and 52 minutes according to her post.

“I DID IT!!! First 16k! Woooh,” she wrote.
“I’m so happy I got to run for the improvement of my beloved industry and help encourage people to support local films. I’m so glad to see a lot of other artists and participants running for the same cause. I am soooo happy,” she continued.
Fans congratulated them in the comment section of their posts and shared how inspired they are in doing their own fitness goals.
“Congratulations, Barbs!! ❤️✨️ ang bilis mo tumakbo,” a fan wrote.
“Congrats po ang lakas nyo! Isa ka sa inabangan ko sa run na 'to. Napakaapproachable ❤️ Nakakahappy,” another fan added.
Barbie and Jerald are just the few out of many celebrities who have become vocal about their fitness journey on social media. Apart from running, many stars are trying out other sports such as cycling and lifting weights, among others.
