Andi Eigenmann recently gave fans a glimpse of her family’s staycation at Lamari Resort in General Luna, Siargao, while their home undergoes renovation.
In a vlog, Andi shared that she, her partner Philmar Alipayo, and their children Lilo and Koa enjoyed a relaxing getaway not far from their home. The short staycation offered them a comfortable place to unwind while still being close to their daily routines.

“I think Lamari has one of the best interior designs on the island,” Andi expressed in the vlog. "I just love the combination of their interior with all the lush greenery. Such a nice chill spot.”
The family spent quality time enjoying the resort’s amenities, especially the pool, where the kids swam all day.
“It’s the perfect time for us to do a staycation here in Lamari. We’re excited to be a tourist again on the island,” Andi shared.
Despite living in Siargao and managing a business there, Andi shared how checking into resorts still feels like a new adventure for the family.
“Whenever we check in on a resort, we just feel like we are tourists again in Siargao and it’s always fun especially with the kids, especially when there’s a pool. They got to swim all day long sa pool. It’s a perfect place for us,” Andi explained.
Andi said that the resort is closer to both their house and their shop, which are very convenient for the family.
“It’s a perfect for our staycation because it’s very near our house, it’s very near Cloud 9 and Happy Islanders so it’s not difficult for us to do back and forth if we are needed there. It is still accessible for when we do surf and also this place is really nice,” she said.
Andi highlighted how meaningful it was to spend downtime with her family, stating, “It’s so nice to just hang out and sit around their restaurant with great food options and be by the pool where the kids can swim.”

Andi also revealed that they are still in the process of renovating their home in Siargao.
“We are in the middle of fixing our house. It’s still the beginning and we have a couple more months to go since we really want our 'new' place to be exactly the way we wanted it to be,” she stated.
In a previous vlog, Andi and Philmar revealed plans to renovate the kitchen area and replace their home’s roof.
“This was the original floor plan we had submitted but we only got until the main structure before and are continuing now. Finally,” Andi said in a vlog.
She addressed concerns from fans about their old stove, explaining that they were using a broken one temporarily while waiting for the renovation to begin.
“You would have seen that we were cooking before our kitchen area was broken down. We were cooking and using a stove that was actually broken and literally shards and a lot of people were offended by it. I am so sorry about that but now you know the reason behind that is because we just wanted to wait for the renovation to start before we actually got a new one pero ngayon we got a new temporary stove,” Andi said.
After a short break from vlogging earlier this year, Andi is back to sharing their island life.
“As I post or share snippets of mine or my family’s life, I will do it with purpose not just for the sake of posting (lang) so that I can be motivated,” she said.
Even as residents of Siargao, Andi expressed how much they still love exploring the island.
“Even if we live here, ironically we don't do this often,” Andi shared as they went on a vacation. “Every now and then, it’s always nice to get out and see and explore our home, our own island home because it helps us fall in love back again on this island.”
In her vlog, she reflected: “As we re-explore other parts of our island home, I'm reminded of the breathtaking beauty that surrounds us every day. We are truly blessed to call this paradise our home. Here I am at my richest. Rich in nature's wonders, and most of all in unforgettable memories with my family. We hope you will stay tuned as we continue to share our adventures as we explore, appreciate, and cherish the magic of our life on the magical island of Siargao.”
