Coming a long way from emerging as the Grand Winner of Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up in 2009, Melai Cantiveros has proven she is not just destined to become one of PBB’s most unforgettable housemates, but also one of the country’s most beloved TV hosts and vloggers. With her refreshing candidness and happy personality, Melai continues to gain more fans with each new project.
Last March 10, the 36-year-old mother of two shared a simple but sweet bonding moment at home with her husband Jason Francisco and their two daughters Mela and Stela. In the post, Melai shared a snapshot of them peacefully sleeping together in their living room after she came home from work duties folr PBB.
“Guys nakalabas na ako ng bahay ni kuya , di na ako nakaupdate kagabi kasi sa sala na ako hinintay at naglablab na agad kmi ng mga La Maingay kung Familia 🤣 Muntikan na kami kagabi, pa madaling araw ba kaming pinalabas ni BigBrother , and. Melai is currently one of the hosts of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition which started airing last March 9. She joins fellow former housemates Kim Chiu, Robi Domingo, Alexa Ilacad, and Bianca Gonzalez as hosts along with two new additions from the Kapuso network, Mavy Legaspi and Gabbi Garcia, this season.
Melai’s love for her family is not hard to see, with them regularly seen on her feed. She most regularly shares their precious bonding moments with her two daughters, who also love to dance and perform like their mom.
Known for her funny antics on and off screen, PBB’s former “Inday Kenkay of General Santos City” also shares hilarious moments with Jason and their kids even when she’s not on the clock, including this moment they shared while watching Regine Velasquez’s concert. Aside from juggling hosting duties between PBB and the morning talk show Magandang Buhay, Melai also started hosting her own Bisaya talk show, Kuan on One on iWantTFC where she has guested and interviewed kapamilya artists like Kyle Echarri, Juan Karlos, Morissette Amon, PBB Gen 11 Housemates Jas Dudley-Scales and Binsoy Namoca, and mother-daughter duo Sylvia Sanchez and Gela Atayde.
