K-pop superstar Sandara Park admits getting teary-eyed during the soundcheck party of 2NE1’s Welcome Back Tour in Macao.
In an Instagram story, the 2NE1 member shared how emotional the moment was for her, especially upon seeing their fandom, Blackjacks, at the venue.

“I’m sorry I got teary-eyed (as) soon as I saw Blackjacks during sound check party. U know I always cry during our last shows. Hopefully, I won’t cry later,” she candidly shared.
She added that it was the last stop for their highly successful concert tour, but definitely not the last stage.
“This is our last stop for the Welcome Back Tour but definitely not the last stage, so let’s have fun tonight,” she stated.
The soundcheck party is a pre-show event where special ticket holders, including VIPs, get the chance to watch the artists and band practice. It also gives artists the opportunity to interact with their supporters.
Days earlier, Sandara warmly invited fans to their two-night concert in Macao in another Instagram post.
"Welcome Back in MACAO! Our last stop for 2024-2025 Welcome Back Asia Tour… We got last 2 shows to go!!! Let’s have fun tonight!!! 🥲🔥🔥🔥 We love you Blackjacks!!! Nolza!” the K-pop icon shared.
2NE1 brought their Welcome Back Tour all over Asia, with stops in Indonesia, Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, and South Korea since October 2024.
In November 2024, they had a successful two-night concert at the Mall of Asia Arena, marking their comeback since the 2014 All or Nothing concert tour.
During their Welcome Back Tour in Manila, Filipino Blackjacks enjoyed the K-pop supergroup’s hits such as “I Am the Best”, “Fire”, “I Don’t Care”, and “Go Away”.
2NE1 members CL, Minzy, and Bom even danced along to Sandara’s OPM bubblegum hit “In or Out” during the fun-filled concert.
During the encore on the first night of their Manila show, Sandara was surprised as she was presented with a birthday cake from fans, leaving her emotional.
“After the disbandment, I was not used to celebrating my birthday by myself. And now, we're here again together. My wish is to be with you guys forever. 2NE1 and Blackjacks forever!” Sandara, who is also fondly known as Dara, shared.
The K-pop sensation also made sure to thank the Filipino Blackjacks in her Instagram post after the concert.
She wrote, "Super jam-packed concert in Manila. Thank you so much for singing with us, dancing with us, and giving us so much energy. Maraming salamat sa walang katapusang pagmamahal at suporta nyo samin. Mahal na mahal namin kayo BlackjackPH. I can’t express my feelings in words.”
