Vice Ganda shared a glimpse of her trip to Rome, Italy with her family and partner, Ion Perez.
In her latest YouTube vlog, the It's Showtime host documented their visit to Rome.
Their first stop was the Vatican Museum. Vice was visibly moved by the experience, expressing deep admiration for the craftsmanship behind the place. "Sobrang galing. Grabe 'yung passon, 'yung talent, 'yung discipline, 'yung art. Ang genius," Vice remarked. "Sa sobrang ganda niya, nakakaiyak siya."
They also visited the four Holy Doors of Rome including the ones in St. Peter's Basilica, St. John Lateran, St. Mary Major, and St. Paul Outside the Walls which are open only during the Jubilee Year, once every 25 years.
Reflecting on the experience, Vice shared: "Natapos natin ang isang buong araw lahat ng four Holy Doors. Congratulations to us. Super, super, super sarap sa pakiramdam. It's beyond amazing. The experience was beyond amazing. Ang palad palad natin na naransan natin 'to," he said.
The host added how grateful she was to experience this moment with her loved ones. "Every 25 years lang siya binubuksan... and I am really so blessed to experience this with you (referring to Ion) and with the family. Si Nanay din, kasi si Nanay nauna siyang nakaikot. Kanina dalawa 'yung basilica, dalawang Holy Doors napuntahan niya. 'Yung other two, napuntahan na niya noong isang araw bago pa tayo dumating.”
She added: "Sabi niya ang swerte swerte niya na naranasan niya ito tapos ilang beses siya nakapunta ng Vatican, kaya umiiyak siya kanina sa happiness."
Vice described the experience of visiting the Holy Doors as deeply spiritual. "It's magical, it's very spiritual. May yumayakap sa'yo talaga na something na hindi mo mai-explain.... 'Yung presence, 'yung holy presence, the blessed presence, talagang yumayakap sa'yo. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam," she said. "Thank you Lord for this wonderful experience."
