Actress and entrepreneur Kiray Celis took to social media to express her appreciation for close friend and longtime co-star, Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee, who played a special role in her wedding to husband Stephan Estopia.
On her Instagram page, Kiray fondly recalled their past film project I Love You To Death, noting how a reel-life romance scene with Enchong amusingly came full circle— this time in real life, as he stood as one of her best men during her actual wedding.
“Sino dito ang nakapanuod ng I LOVE YOU TO DEATH?! 😛 Sinong magaakala na yung pinakasalan kong si TONTON noon, Magiging BESTMAN ko pala sa totoong KASAL ko.. Hihihi!” Kiray said.
Expressing her gratitude for Enchong’s presence on their special day, Kiray shared how happy and thankful she and her husband were that the actor accepted their invitation to be part of their entourage.
“Appreciation post para sa asawa kong si TON TON.. Mahal na mahal kita @mr_enchongdee! Salamat sa pagpayag at hinding hindi magbabago ang pagmamahal ko sayo. Mahal ka namin ng asawa ko! 🥰,” she added.
In the carousel of photos, Kiray shared throwback snaps of her and Enchong from their previous projects, alongside moments from her wedding celebration.

Kiray and Stephan tied the knot in December at the Shrine of St. Therese at Newport.
Their wedding was attended by a star-studded list of principal sponsors, including Vice Ganda, Dingdong Dantes, Senator Bong Go, Mayor Isko Moreno, Governor Chavit Singson, Maricel Soriano, ABS-CBN executive Cory Vidanes, Boy Abunda, Gary Valenciano, Ogie Alcasid, Gabby Concepcion, Marian Rivera, Ai Ai delas Alas, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Melai Cantiveros, Eugene Domingo, Jackie Lou Blanco, and Sharon Cuneta.
Meanwhile, Xyriel Manabat, Yen Santos, Arci Muñoz, Gigi De Lana, and Winwyn Marquez served as bridesmaids.
In a previous interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Kiray shared how she personally invited Enchong to be part of her wedding entourage shortly after announcing her engagement.
“Si Enchong, nag-chat siya sa akin kagabi,” Kiray shared. “Nagulat kasi ako sa post niya, nagrerelapse siya.”

“Nagulat lang ako kasi sabi niya sa akin, he's the happiest for me, kaya, ayan daming nakamiss nung movie namin, I Love You To Death. So, yung mga comment dun, ‘Hala, bumalik siya. Bumangon siya sa hukay para lang batiin ka.’ So, I'm very happy,” Kiray explained.
She continued, “Nag-chat ako sa kanya, sabi ko, ‘Hindi ka pwede mawala sa kasal ko’, and kung hindi mamarapatin, siyempre, isa siya sa mga groomsmen. Sabi niya, ‘I'll be there,’ and, ‘I love you and you know that.’ So, I'm very, very happy. Kasi yung mga ka-close ko talaga is, ano na, nag-ready na rin for me.”
Prior to Kiray’s appreciation post, Stephan also poked fun at a video they created together, joking about how he and Enchong seemed to have switched roles.
“Nag mukha akong BEST MAN sayo Enchong! 😂” he quipped.
