Kapuso actress and host Camille Prats shared that she apologized to Kuya Kim Atienza following her viral performance which became a trending topic on social media. The video went viral following the hosts introducing the Kapuso star right after they solemnly expressed their sympathies over the death of Kim’s daughter, Emman Atienza.

Camille has gained various titles on social media after the said introduction such as Pambansang Mars and Pambansang Dopamine.

She admitted that she was surprised after it went viral on social media and explained her side in an interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda earlier this week.

“I didn't know that kung ano yung pinanggalingan ng programa–– that was actually the first live show they had after what happened to Kuya Kim–– so I wasn't aware of that,” she shared.“Ang alam ko lang is I'm guesting, I'm gonna dance, so I was busy memorizing my steps, didn't bother to check the script–– where the show was coming from–– and then that afternoon nagulat na lang ako na I was all over social media,” she continued.

Despite understanding why it quickly went viral on social media, Camille made sure to apologize to Kim the moment she had the chance to see him.

“I’m like 'Kuya forgive me, I didn't know' kasi hindi ko alam kung ano yung na-feel niya eh and siyempre I'm grateful that he took it lightly because he's always been that way and I'm so grateful for that but I felt that it was, you know, gets ko talaga, Tito Boy,” she expressed.

Kuya Kim maintained that Camille didn’t have to apologize as it wasn’t her fault but she still insisted since she “should’ve known.”

“What’s important is he’s fine, he’s okay, he’s happy–– we’re okay. I’m glad that I’m able to make a lot of people happy too because of that so okay na rin,” she assured.

In a previous interview with Boy, Kim assured that everything is fine as well and even jokingly shared that the incident was “effective” in removing his sadness.

“Very effective si Camille Prats sa akin. Talagang 'pag nakikita ko, hanggang ngayon natatawa pa rin ako. Siya na ang Pambansang Dopamine. The Dopamine of Asia,” he previously shared.
