Kapamilya actress Loisa Andalio beamed with pride as her nephew, Lucas Andalio, made waves for his acting prowess at such a young age. On her X (formerly Twitter) account, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate shared a clip of her nephew who cried on the spot at one of the recent episodes of It’s Showtime where he guested in.
Lucas is part of the cast of Call Me Mother, an official entry to the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

In the clip she reposted from a fan, the child star was asked by Vice Ganda to act out some lines where he needed to cry as well. Lucas then prepared himself in less than 30 seconds and was able to deliver a powerful impromptu performance which left the Madlang People cheering him on.
Loisa then expressed how proud she is of her nephew and revealed she was the one who taught him how to do an actor's cue.
“Proudddd ang tita! Yung turo ko sakanya na pikit siya kapag actors cue para hindi madistract, huhuhu kyoooot! galing galing,” she wrote.
Having an MMFF entry herself, the Kapamilya actress added how ready she is to see Lucas on the big screens as well.
“Excited na din ako mapanood ang Call Me Mother,” she expressed.
Fans of Loisa shared in the comment section of her post how they can’t believe how fast Lucas has grown up already. Other netizens remembered the child actor as someone that the Kapamilya actress would hold in her arms several years ago.
“Aw, may pinagmanahan talaga sa husay si Lucas👏👏 nakakaproud kayong mag-tita,” a fan wrote.
“Manang mana sa tita😍 parang kailan lang pinag titripan mo pa si Lucas sa IGs mo ngayong child star actor na,” another fan shared.
Call Me Mother is about Twinkle de Guzman (played by Vice), a queer single mother, who wants to start the process to legally adopt her son. Mara (played by Nadine Lustre), the biological mother of Angel, unexpectedly arrives and forms a bond with him.
The film is directed by Jun R. Lana and produced by Star Cinema, The IdeaFirst Company, and Viva Films.
