Kapamilya singer and actor Kyle Echarri achieved a milestone in his career as he bagged his first ever acting award for his role in the hit series Pamilya Sagrado. He was given the Best Actor award at the 21st Gawad Tanglaw Awards wherein he personally received the accolade.
Kyle played the role of Moises Sagrado, the biological son of Piolo Pascual’s character, Vice President Rafael Sagrado.

In his Instagram post, the Kapamilya star expressed his gratitude to everyone that made it possible for him to win the prestigious award. He showed a glimpse of himself accepting the award on stage.
“Heart is full of gratitude. Thank you Gawad Tanglaw. my first ever Acting award and I am beyond honored for this recognition. Lalo na kasama ko ang aking 'Pamilya Sagrado,'” he wrote.
Kyle then shared a heartfelt message for his character in the hit Kapamilya series as he expressed how he found his passion for the craft of acting through him.
“Moises truly helped me find love, passion, and purpose in the art of acting. I know god has a higher purpose for me in this lifetime other than the god given talent he’s graced me with,” he said.
“Be good and choose to love… even in that way you can make the world a better place. Thank you Moises,” he added.

Friends and fans of Kyle congratulated him in the comment section of his post. Other netizens raved about his acting in the hit series and expressed how well deserving he was to bag the award.

Apart from Kyle, ABS-CBN bagged several awards at the 21st Gawad Tanglaw Awards which included Best News Program, Best Innovative News Program, Best TV News Anchor, Gawad Natatanging Brodkaster sa Sining at Kultura ng Midya at Komunikasyon, Gawad Debbie Francisco Dianco, PhD para sa Pangmadlang Komunikasyon, Gawad Tanglaw ng Kabataang Pilipino, among many others.
