Tiffany of the iconic K-pop group Girls' Generation and South Korean actor Byun Yo-han are dating and are considering marriage, according to a report.
The relationship was made public on Saturday through a statement by Yo-han's agency Team Hope, Yonhap News Agency reported.
"The two actors are currently in a serious relationship with marriage in mind," Team Hope was quoted as saying in the Yonhap article.
"The date has not been finalized yet but both actors have expressed their wish to share the news with their fans once it is set," the company added.
The two reportedly became close after working together on the Disney+ series "Uncle Samsik" in 2024.
Tiffany, whose real name is Stephanie Young Hwang, debuted in 2007 as a member of Girls' Generation, one of K-pop's most influential female acts known for hits such as "Into the New World," "Gee" and "Genie."
Apart from her music career, Tiffany has also ventured into acting, starring in "Reborn Rich" and "Uncle Samsik."
Yo-han, meanwhile, is known for starring in dramas such as "Misaeng: Incomplete Life" and "Mr. Sunshine," as well as films like "Socialphobia" and "The Book of Fish." In 2022, he starred in historical war film "Hansan: Rising Dragon," which earned him the Best Supporting Actor award at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards.
