Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo has plenty to be grateful for as the year 2025 draws to an end.
In an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Kathryn shared that personal growth and maturity are among the biggest gains she cherishes this year.
So many things talaga na ipinapagpasalamat ko this 2025 but kung may top two, one would be growth siguro,” Kathryn shared.

The Asia’s Superstar emphasized how witnessing her own growth has been a fulfilling experience.
“I’m thankful for growth in all aspects and I got to experience that this year talaga. Like, it is more of a personal growth because it is such a beautiful (thing) and iba yung fulfillment siguro kapag nafi-feel mo iyon personally,” Kathryn added.
As she prepares to enter a new decade, the soon-to-be 30-year-old actress also highlighted good health as one of her greatest blessings.
“And then, I'm thankful for good health as well. Now that I’m about to turn 30 soon, ngayon ko mas napapahalagahan having a healthy body. Ang dami mong pwede magawa because of good health and I’m just grateful for that. Sana magtuloy tuloy iyon in the coming years, not just next year and, mas marami pa tayong ipagpapasalamat (sa susunod pang taon),” she stated.

Kathryn was one of the Kapamilya stars who joined ABS-CBN’s annual Christmas Special, a celebration she has grown deeply fond of. Online teasers revealed Kathryn performing in several numbers, including a production with close friend Julia Montes, a singing performance with Maja Salvador and James Reid—the latter her co-star in the upcoming Kapamilya series Someone Someday—and a fun stage appearance with Vice Ganda, Coco Martin, and other Kapamilya artists for the Christmas ID “Love, Joy, Hope: Sabay Tayo Ngayong Pasko.”
With a grateful heart, Kathryn shared how quickly the year went by and how the Christmas Special has become a meaningful annual gathering for ABS-CBN artists, employees, viewers and fans.
“I am very grateful to be here once again. Una, ang bilis ng 2025 so hindi natin, namin namalayan lahat na it’s time na for Christmas Special again. It became a yearly thing na eh. Hindi lang sa akin but I think pati na rin sa mga employees, sa lahat ng mga ABS-CBN artists na every December is that time na we get together to show our love for ABS-CBN, our home network, of course and to celebrate the Christmas na rin,” Kathryn said.
Kathryn also extended her heartfelt thanks to viewers for their unwavering support for ABS-CBN and its artists.
“Mga Kapamilya, happy holidays po sa inyong lahat. Merry merry Christmas. Thank you for joining us for this year’s ABS-CBN Christmas Special. Thank you for staying with us, Thank you for continuously loving ABS-CBN. Sana magkita kita pa rin tayo hanggang next year. Marami pa kaming hinanda na mga shows para sa inyong lahat,” she shared, assuring fans that more shows and surprises await in 2026.
She ended her message with a warm holiday greeting, highlighting the spirit behind this year’s celebration.
“This year we would like to end this with a grateful heart, ‘love, joy, hope’ and lahat iyon naging possible dahil kasama namin kayo. Merry Christmas po! Stay safe and enjoy this time with your family!” she added.
