Actress and SexBomb member Sunshine Garcia expressed how proud she is of her body and that she’s totally fine with her weight journey. In her Instagram post, the dancer-actress shared that she is taking things one step at a time especially when she just gave birth earlier this year.
This comes after several netizens made comments about her alleged weight gain which Sunshine acknowledged.

In her post, she shared various clips of herself dancing on day 1 of SexBomb’s concert held at the Araneta Coliseum earlier this month.
“IN MY CHUBBY ERA,” she wrote.
“Ang dami ng taon na payat ako hindi natutuloy ang concert namin, ngayon talaga kung kailan nasa malaman ako🤣 May iba na naiintindihan meron naman na kung makapag sabi nang 'ANG TABA MO,' 'ANG BIGAT NI SHINE,' etc,” she added.
She added how her husband, actor turned politician, Alex Castro, made sure to ask if she’s okay with the comments made on social media to which she assured him she doesn’t mind at all.
“Kagabi nag ask ang asawa ko VG Alex Castro kung naapektuhan ba daw ako natawa ako at sumagot na 'HINDI' 🤣 natawa din sya sabi nya lang sa akin na mukha nga,” she expressed.
Sunshine then asserted that she just gave birth–– a cesarean section–– which is why she’s taking her weight journey slowly. She maintained that she’s cherishing the moment and she’s ready to shed off the weight anytime.
“Alam ko sa sarili ko na wala pang isang taon ako nanganganak via CS, ayaw ko madaliin yung katawan ko at alam ko sa sarili ko na papayat din ako😊 AT GUYS NGAYON LANG AKO NASASABIHAN NA CUTE HAYAAN NYONG CHERISH KO MUNA ITO HAHAHA dahil pagnagpapayat ulit ako pahirapan ng katawan,” she continued.

Friends and fans of the SexBomb member comforted her in the comment section and assured her that she looks good. Other netizens defended her from her bashers as they expressed how good of a dancer she still is.
“Go go go Shine! ❤️ nagiisa ka pa rin! 👏 Naalala ko tuloy mga costume natin sa show noon,” Jessy Mendiola wrote.
“Mahusay ka!!! Hayaan mo sila,” John Prats shared.
Meanwhile, SexBomb successfully held the second day of their concert earlier this week at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. During the concert, the audience were surprised by the members as they announced another show in the near future.
