Kuan On One host Melai Cantiveros took to social media to share her and husband Jason Francisco's sweet moments while celebrating their 12th wedding anniversary with their daughters, Mela and Stela.
On Instagram, Melai posted a heartfelt message dedicated to her “love of all time,” Jason.
“Happy 12th Anniversary my Lab of all time ? Lab kung awayin Lab bwisitin , Lab iLablab and Lab kasama sa buhay 😍❤️💋Thank you Lord nakahabol dn sa Anniversary nmin 💋,” Melai said.
She continued with her signature humor, telling Jason: “To my Lab Papang , ay lab you with all of my Kidney and Liver and with all of my Fallopian Tube 😍😁 #Melason.”
Melai also expressed gratitude to their daughters, who prepared a handmade banner to surprise them.
“Thank you Lord nakahabol dn sa Anniversary nmin 💋 Thank you mga mahal Ate Mela and Baby Stela for surprising kami ni Papang,” Melai expressed.
In a carousel of photos, Melai showed handwritten letters from Mela and Stela commemorating their parents’ special day.
“Happy anniversary. Sana happy kayo palagi and I love you guys,” their youngest Stela said in the letter.
Their older daughter, Mela, penned a touching message expressing her appreciation and wishes for her parents: “To Mama and Papa, happy anniversary. Thank you for giving us joy and care in our life. I wish you guys good health and happiness in your lives. Thank you also for giving us a home to live in and food for me and Stela to eat. I am so grateful for having you two as my parents. I love you Papa and Mama.”
Melai and Jason first met inside the Pinoy Big Brother house during its third regular season in 2009, where they eventually emerged as the Big Winner and Third Big Placer, respectively. They tied the knot on December 9, 2013, at the Holy Cross Parish in General Santos City.
Aside from their daughters, several celebrity friends—such as Eugene Domingo, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Jervi “KaladKaren” Wrightson, DJ Chacha, Samantha Bernardo, and Rita Avila, as well as fans were among those who congratulated the couple in the comments section of Melai’s post.
In a previous interview with Karen Davila, Melai revealed that she and Jason are hoping to have another child—a baby boy.
"We want a boy, but then again kung maging kamukha ko lang din o kamukha ni Papa, siguro we will just, we're gonna leave it to God,” she expressed.

She also quipped about them trying for another child: “The trying is always there, alam mo naman ang marriage. Always naman talaga pero hindi ko alam kay Jason."
Melai also shared that Jason typically takes the lead when it comes to major decisions in their household.
"Ang boss talaga sa bahay 'pag mga decision talaga, talagang si Jason talaga because I submit myself sa mga decision si Jason, pero ako lahat ang gumagawa ng first step. So ang unang gagawin natin, tapos ilalatag namin sa aming punong-guro, 'Ito na po gagawin natin Mr. Jason," she explained.
In a separate interview with Ogie Diaz, Melai discussed the secret to their strong marriage.
"Understanding at respect, 'yun ang number one sa relasyon. Love, kahit ihuli mo na 'yun," she said.
"'Yung love, 'yun ang opening remarks. Pero sa relasyon, para magtagal, respect na at understanding. Intindihin mo. 'Sangkatutak na intindi talaga," the television host added.

Melai also said that they will always choose each other. "Andun pa rin na pipiliin ang isa’t isa, kasi para sa mga bata. At para sa 'I do' namin sa simbahan," she stated.
