TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan have extended financial assistance to the victims of the Cebu flooding.

The agency noted that the monetary donation was made possible through the support extended by attendees of the recent Sarili Nating Mundo tour, as well as contributions from the couple and their team.
"This generous donation was made possible through the overwhelming kindness of our 'kababayans,' who contributed during the Sarili Nating Mundo events in Perth, Sydney, and New Zealand, along with the Monterdes' and the Sarili Nating Mundo Team’s contributions from their tour," the agency said.
The agency added: "While the funds were initially intended to support both Visayas and Mindanao, the couple has chosen to focus first on Visayas, where the recent Typhoon Tino has caused additional destruction and suffering. They are committed to raising more funds for those affected in Mindanao, recognizing that Visayas is currently in greater need."

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) and local authorities reported on Friday, November 7, that the death toll from Typhoon Tino has risen to 224, with 135 individuals still missing in the aftermath of the storm that struck several provinces across the Visayas and Mindanao as per report by PhilStar Global.
According to official figures, around 2.25 million people have been affected by the typhoon, and over 318,703 residents continue to take shelter in more than 3,050 evacuation centers.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) noted that rainfall in Cebu surpassed levels expected only once every 20 years, indicating a 5-percent likelihood of such extreme rainfall occurring in any given year.
The torrential rains from Typhoon Tino struck Metro Cebu the hardest, affecting its more than 3 million residents.
