“Meet, Greet & Bye” star Piolo Pascual said he found the viral “Piolo Pacquiao” memes flattering.
Filipinos recently flooded social media with posts comparing Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual to boxer Eman Bacosa, son of Manny Pacquiao, after noticing a resemblance during the young athlete's “Thrilla in Manila 2” bout.
“I think it’s a compliment, you know, to be compared to him,” Pascual said in an interview held in Quezon City on Saturday. “He visited me yesterday. We had an interview together. Yeah, actually, my feed is full of Eman Pacquiao—puro links.”

The actor said he had already met Bacosa, who left a strong impression on him.
“Finally, I got to meet him yesterday, and I would say he was raised well—very humble, very God-fearing,” Pascual explained. “He’s a good kid. I’m happy there’s someone like him in that field, which is boxing.”
Pascual also expressed confidence in the young boxer’s potential.
“I think he definitely will go places… I told him to really reach for his dreams. He’s going to college after his last year in high school, so there’s a lot of hopes and dreams. But yeah, I’m just happy that he’s a very God-fearing kid,” he said.
