After months of treatment, comedian Ate Gay celebrated a major victory after he has officially completed his chemotherapy for stage 4 cancer.

MANILA -- After months of treatment, comedian Ate Gay celebrated a major victory after he has officially completed his chemotherapy for stage 4 cancer.

"Yeheyyy nalagpasan ko Ang pagduduwal walang panlasa.. now nakakain na ng bongga .. graduate na ako sa chemo," Ate Gay wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday, November 4,.

After his chemotherapy, Ate Gay said he will be undergoing radiation and immunotherapy.

Born Gild Aducal Morales, the comedian concluded his post by expressing his gratitude to all those who are praying for him.

"15 days radiation na lang then immunotheraphy (12 sessions every 21 days) ..Salamat po sa mga dasal nyo lumalaban ako," Ate Gay added.

Ate Gay, who's known for impersonating the late superstar Nora Aunor, made headlines after revealing that he has stage 4 cancer in an interview with Jessica Soho last September.

Last month, Ate Gay reported that the lump on his neck has almost gone. The comedian started treatment with the help of benefactor who was connected to Gabay Guro, where he previously performed.
