Joshua Garcia recounted his experience celebrating his birthday in Rome, Italy.

In an interview with Bianca Gonzalez in TFC's BRGY, the actor shared how he spent his natal day in Rome.

He further relayed: "And then church-hopping, puro dasal, ang daming pagpapasalamat eh. And ipagdadasal of course 'yung movie (Meet, Greet, & Bye) ngayon di ba. And after that nag-Lourdes kami. Ginawa ko sa Lourdes, nag-confess, nagsimba of course."

For Joshua, traveling has become a way for him to better understand the world. "Na-enjoy ko travel talaga parang mas naiintindihan ko 'yung mundo," he said.

The actor also highlighted how these trips allow him to connect with Overseas Filipino Workers. For example 'pagka nasa Rome ako, ang dami kong nakakausap na mga OFWs dun," he said.

He has also made friends with kababayans that he met during his recent trip overseas.

Joshua is currently starring in the hit movie Meet, Greet, & Bye. The actor plays the role of Brad, the second child in the Facundo family, in the movie.

In a recent interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Joshua shared that portraying Brad gave him a deeper appreciation for the often-unheard experiences of middle children.

Joshua relayed that the cast and director Cathy Garcia-Sampana collaborated on shaping each character's emotional foundation.

"Ito talagang binuo namin 'to, lahat kami — mga cast and Direk mismo.
