Former Miss Universe winners Dayanara Torres and R'Bonney Gabriel will be part of the upcoming 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand.
On Sunday, November 9, it was announced that Dayanara and R'Bonney are set to be the pageant's commentary hosts.
"Say hello to our Miss Universe Commentary Hosts! 💫 They'll be your voices through the show! Sharing the best reactions, stories, and unforgettable moments live from the 74th Miss Universe Competition," the organization announced on Instagram.
Dayanara and R'Bonney were quick to express their excitement about being part of the pageant.
"Can't wait to return to Thailand!" R'Bonney commented on the post.
"Can't wait! #SoExcited," Dayanara wrote.
The coronation night of Miss Universe 2025, which will be the 74th edition of the pageant, is set to be held at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand, on November 21.
Dayanara won the Miss Universe crown in 1993 while R'Bonney bagged the title in the Miss Universe 2022.
Following the pageant, Dayanara starred in several roles in film and television in the Philippines including the Sunday variety show ASAP.
Last February Dayanara took to social media to pen a message for ASAP as it celebrated its 30th anniversary.
"Happy 30th Anniversary, ASAP! 30 years of history, laughter, music, dance, and unforgettable moments," she posted on social media as per English translation.
She went on: "This show has not only shaped my career but has also touched my heart. Thank you, Philippines, for so much love and for being my second home! I ❤️ PH!"
Dayanara was one of the original hosts of the show alongside Martin Nievera, Pops Fernandez, and Ariel Rivera.
Meanwhile, R'Bonney is currently based in Manila and New York, working as a designer and as a host.
In August last year, R'Bonney launched her first collection in the Philippines called "How to Survive on Land and Sea" during the Bench Fashion Week.
In a previous interview with ABS-CBN News, R'Bonney shared the process that went into making the collection.
"I'm mixing swimwear elements and beachwear together, kind of balancing the two contrasting elements," R'Bonney relayed. "I got my shells from Siargao. Some of them are from Bench or the ukay-ukay, and I upcycled them. It's all really sourced here in the Philippines since I'm here now."
