Tuesday Vargas expressed her dismay after reading a recent post on Reddit regarding her alleged disappointing interaction with fans who wanted photos with her while she was on a recent vacation at Hong Kong Disneyland. Tuesday shared the unfair scrutiny that she has been subjected to and refuted all the claims from a netizen (who has since deleted the original post as of this writing).
Tuesday wrote, "Bakit po may mga ganitong tao sa mundo? Lahat po ng nag ask nicely sa akin ay pinagbigyan ko po magpa picture. Nakaka lungkot po na may ganitong mapag gawa ng kwento. Kung nalampasan ko po kayo, napaka daming tao at napaka init po noong araw na yon. Wala akong maalala na nang irap ako at nag taray sa kahit sinong MAAYOS akong nilapitan at nagpa picture. Please lang po, huwag naman po tayong ganyan. Nakaka sakit po kayo ng damdamin.”
The now deleted post claimed she had shown a bad attitude while declining requests from fans who recognized her at the popular theme park that day. The reddit user posted, “Tuesday Vargas was a total b*tch in Hong Kong. Was in HK this week. Went to Disneyland and saw Vargas. I didn’t say hi or anything I barely know her but based on my observation, some other Filipinos did.
"One little girl with her lola approached her for a photo and she literally rolled her eyes and in a very sarcastic way said, “'aya nga ako andito para mag relax.' Okay I get it, but at least say it in a nice way or let just one photo slide. You’re in Disneyland a place where everyone is happy and having a good time.
"Other Filipinos were calling her in the park saying hi, some were behind or in front of her in the lines for a ride and she would just blankly ignore them like they were ghosts or roll her eyes.
"I don’t really know who she is but based on her social media she seems to be promoting mental health but it seems the other way around in person. Also, she seems all bubbly online but in person, total opposite.”
In a succeeding post, Tuesday shared a short video clip of herself encountering another fan at the airport. She further explained her side in the caption.
“Kung maayos na nag sabi, lumalapit nang naka ngiti at hindi demanding o entitled, bakit naman hindi pag bibigyan magpa picture? Sana alam ko kung sino ka na naninira sa akin para pwede tayong mag harap at nang masabi ko sa iyo na kahit kelan ay hindi ako madamot sa oras ko at sa mga taga hanga ko. Kung talagang matapang ka ay sana sinabi mo sa akin doon mismo ang saloobin mo at di ka naka tago sa Reddit. Napaka sakit. Sinusubukan kong maging mabuting tao parati pero ang dadami na kapwa ko Pilipino pa ang yumuyurak sa pagka tao ko. Kina ate na mababait, mag enjoy po kayo! Deserve mo yan kasi mabait kang nag aporoach. Yun lang.”

Tuesday also thanked people online who defended her in the original post. She wrote, “Salamat po sa mga nakaka unawa.
Opo nakaka overwhelm lahat ng bagay, pero hindi po ako nag sungit at hindi po ako nag taray sa kahit sino doon. Tahimik lang akong naka pila at nag eenjoy kagaya ng lahat.
Hayyyy buhay, bakit po ba may mga taong kahit anong gawin natin ay di tayo gusto."
The post was shared just days after Tuesday opened up about when she went through the lowest point in her life in 2023 and how her faith got her through that ordeal which involved financial deception.
