MANILA — The aces of pop definitely gave something for the headlines at their first solo concert, “BGYO Now,” held at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City on Saturday.
“Nafefeel pa namin sigaw ng crowd, sobrang grateful and proud sa mga tao naging part ng journey namin,” Gelo said in an interview after the concert.
According to JL, if they were to write the headline of their show, it would be “BGYO, blessed.”
“Ramdam na ramdam namin pagmamahal ng tao sa paligid namin, Lahat ng supporta samin. Doon pa lang blessed na kami,” he explained.
The New Frontier Theater was packed from the SVIP section to the balcony—and BGYO’s Gelo, Nate, Mikki, JL, and Akira made sure each ACE would get a one-of-a-kind experience.

On the stage, BGYO prepared electrifying productions as a group and as soloists. Apart from their discography, they also performed covers such as Sarah Geronimo’s “Kilometro” and “Tala.”
“Yung last chunk, from light to kilometro isa sa pinaka challenging. I'm happy to be performing,” Gelo recalled.
“Yung quick changes sa outfit nakaka ngarag pero thankful kami sa team, talagang tulong-tulong sila,” Akira admitted.
The members also made an effort to create unforgettable memories—personally interacting and meeting with fans in each section, including taking time for selfies.
“Para sa amin na bigay namin gusto namin mangyare. Sobrang happy kami. di ako makapaniwala. Kanina sobra kaba namin. Dito lang kami naka focus. Kanina naka tulala ako,” JL said.
