Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu took a break from taping to buy relief goods for the victims of the powerful earthquake that recently struck her home province of Cebu.
On its official social media channels, the Sunday noontime musical show "ASAP" posted Thursday photos of Chiu as she personally bought "materials for those affected by the recent earthquake in Bogo City and San Remigio."
"Queen move, indeed!" the program wrote in the caption of its post, referring to Chiu.
As of Thursday, local disaster officials reported that the death toll from the magnitude 6.9 earthquake that struck Cebu late Tuesday had risen to 72.
A Cebu City native, Chiu rose to fame after winning the first-ever teen edition of "Pinoy Big Brother."
She is set to star in "The Alibi," an upcoming series with screen partner Paulo Avelino, which will stream on Prime Video.
