The actor, director, and producer behind ABS-CBN’s hit primetime series surprised Alcoy at his home in Tonsuya, Malabon, bringing with him a variety of gifts — including appliances, food packs, Bida products, and more.
“Ngayon lang ako nakatangap ng ganitong biyaya. Malaking tulong 'to,” Alcoy said in an interview.
“Gabi-gabi kami nanunuod walang mintis. Wala kami ibang pinapanood. Inaabangan ko yan. Grabe idol ako sa kanya. Kahit sa personal lalo na ngayon,” he added.
The visit is part of Martin’s initiative called “Katok Bahay,” where he aims to personally thank fans for three years of unwavering support.
“Ito ang panahon para makapagpasalamat sa mga Kapamilya. Tatlong taon na ang 'Batang Quiapo' — finally ako naman pumunta sa kanilang tahanan para makapasalamat ng personal, mayakap sila. Sobra-sobra ang biyaya na binigay nila sa akin,” he said.

“Napaka-espesyal ng lugar na 'to dahil dito nagsimula 'Batang Quiapo.' Kung natatandaan ninyo ang pilot episode, dito siya binaril noon. Dito kadalasan sa court, eskenita bakbakan. Napakabait ng mga tao dito,” he said.
The “Batang Quiapo” star is eyeing to visit other locations in the Philippines.
