Actress and host Tuesday Vargas took to social media to share highlights from her last-minute trip to Hong Kong.
On her social media pages, Tuesday revealed that her doctors advised her to take a break from her busy schedule, prompting her to travel abroad.
“I rarely take breaks. A person like me finds meaning in becoming a busy body. But my doctors advised me that balancing play with work is an integral part of healing. I am blessed that I get to make content (which is also work by the way haha) and relax for a bit at the same time,” she wrote.
The actress shared that choosing Hong Kong was a spontaneous decision since it had been years since her last visit.
“Hong Kong was a last minute decision for me. It’s been years since I went to this place and a lot has changed,” she observed.
While exploring the city, Tuesday expressed her admiration for Hong Kong’s progress and infrastructure.
“What I really envy about them aside from the amazing food culture is that there are so many well-maintained parks and open spaces that citizens get to enjoy for free. Plus, a big plus to boot, is their efficient transportation system,” she stated.
Wrapping up her reflection, Tuesday expressed her desire for Filipinos to enjoy a similar quality of life back home.
“There is quality of life to be had. How I wish that we too can enjoy our evenings after a long day at work, not stuck in traffic but with our families strolling in parks enjoying a hearty meal. Thank you HK! I will be back!” she continued.

Though Tuesday was enjoying her overseas break, the actress-comedienne previously addressed an issue that surfaced online alleging that she snubbed fans at Hong Kong Disneyland. The actress denied the claims, saying she accommodated everyone who approached her politely and was saddened by false accusations made against her.

She then thanked those who came to her defense, stressing that she has always been kind and generous with fans who treat her with respect.

The post came just days after Tuesday opened up in an interview with journalist Karen Davila about experiencing one of the lowest points in her life in 2023, when she faced a financial challenge and relied on her faith to overcome the ordeal.
