MANILA -- Actor Xian Lim has added another feather to his cap as he announced on social media that he is now a private pilot.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, Lim expressed his happiness reaching another milestone in his career as a pilot.
"It's official! PRIVATE PILOT. Still in the clouds from everything that happened. Thank you to my @topfliteacademy family here in Subic for making this journey an extra special one! Thank you capt. @chiclet.pecson for all the patience! More flights, more aerodromes, and more and more cross country flights to come! As always, maraming salamat Capt. @sahl.onglatco for the trust and for always providing your students with inspiration. To my check ride pilot, Capt. Villarin, what an unforgettable experience in the sky. Next up, CPL! HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR everyone!" Lim wrote in his post.
Lim previously announced that he enrolled in an aviation school In September 2024.

Months later, in November, he had his first solo flight as a student pilot.

Before joining the aviation academy, Lim starred in a psycho-thriller movie "Playtime" with Sanya Lopez and Coleen Garcia, and directed the horror film "Kuman Thong" starring Thai Star Max Nattapol.
