"This was a real passion project for me."
These were the words of Star Magic artist Robbie Jaworski as he spearheaded the turning over of a digital learning project in Tarlac.
"During this season of giving under @jcimanila and our major sponsor @ramgoseeds, we successfully turned over the first ever Youth Center and Digital Literacy Program in Brgy. Labney, Mayantoc, Tarlac!" he shared on his social media page.
Robbie highlighted that the community not only has a stunning nature but also has a rich history.
"Napakaraming kwento ang pwede ko sanang ibahagi sa inyo, kung gaano kaganda ang komunidad at kasaysayan ng Brgy. Labney. Nakikita nyo din naman po sa video kung gaano kaganda ang kalikasan sa Labney, diba," he said.
They also introduced an agriculture-related initiative to the barangay
"Apart from the digital literacy program, Ramgo has also introduced an agricultural science program strategically designed for their specific location and common challenges!" he said.
He went on: "Happy Holidays everyone! Don’t forget to #SpreadTheLove and #ShareTheMagic this Christmas 🫶🏽 Wag din po nating kalimutan ang tunay na dahilan kung bakit tayo nagdiriwang ng Pasko - for Jesus."
Fans online were quick to commend Robbie for the initiative.
"Thank you very much for giving time to focus on a project in one of the barangays in my town," one fan wrote.
"Your mom used to be the SK chairman in Tarlac and we look up to her for being a good role model to the youth.. Now I think she has raised a kind-hearted young man to follow her footsteps.. May God bless you with all your endeavors," another fan said.
Back in November, Robbie signed a contract with Star Magic as one of their new artists.
"After seeing my parents and grandparents how they inspire [others], I realized this might be an opportunity for me to do find a greater purpose and something bigger than just myself. Hopefully learn to inspire others," he said on what made him decide to venture into show business.
