MANILA — Actress Claudine Barretto said that she felt her “multitasker” job posting on Instagram, which sparked backlash from netizens, was misinterpreted.
In her post last Nov. 19, she mentioned she was looking for a possible stay in secretary and personal assistant preferably with experience in accounting.
“Naging viral, sabi ko basahin niyo muna. Two to three times a month ang trabaho, hindi araw-araw. Two to three times a month lang yung requirements,” she clarified in an interview.
In the post, which netizens deemed “too demanding,” Barretto not only required applicants create weekly reports on her earnings and expenses, but also asked them to manage her and her children’s schedules.
“Sana sanay sa puyatan at very masipag,” she wrote in the posting.
“Also siya magpapatakbo ng lahat sa bahay namin & sanay sa puyat kasi ganun po talaga sa shootings/ tapings.yung masipag, alerto, multitasker gaya ko po.at important very neat & organized.pls pray na tamang tao sng makukuha ko to be an assistant,” she added.
Barretto, however, emphasized that she is hands-on in taking care of her kids, especially her youngest child.
“Yung maliit ko lagi ko kasama. Wala, talagang hands-on ako. Wala siya yaya. Si Sab and Santino may yaya, yung youngest ko wala. Ako talaga. Tutok ako,” she explained.
“My heart is always full. Kung kay Sabina at Santino ko lang bibigay, mag- ooverflow. I have so much to give. I don’t like using the word adopted, they are my chosen ones,” she added.
