"Tawag Ng Tanghalan" alumnus Sofronio Vasquez received a standing ovation from his coach Michael Bublé with his newest powerful performance on "The Voice USA."
Vasquez wowed the audience and the coaches with his rendition of Roy Orbison's "Crying" during The Voice Playoffs.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday morning (Manila time), Vasquez expressed his happiness making it to the Top 8.
"I made it to the Top 8! Now it's in your hands, America," he said, telling his coach Bublé that he will not "waste this chance."
Last week, Vasquez advanced to the PlayOffs after he won the 3-way knockout round. His ticket to Top 20 was his performance of Dusty Springfield's "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me."
