MANILA -- Actor Joshua Garcia joined fellow Star Magic artists at this year’s Star Magical Christmas event on Sunday at the Solaire Resort North in Quezon City, celebrating the season with a heartwarming sense of camaraderie.
“I’m happy to be here kasama ko mga kapatid ko sa Star Magic. Importante to, lalo na andami kong mga bagong kapatid. Parang ito yung time para mas makilala ko sila, makipag-party sa kanila, and makabonding din sila,” Garcia said.

Beyond the festivities, Garcia highlighted Star Magic’s Share the Magic initiative, which aims to spread blessings to those in need. “Kami yung isa sa mga blessed. Hindi masama na ishare yung blessings sa mga nangangailangan,” he said, showing pride in being part of the meaningful cause.
Garcia is currently focused on his upcoming series with Anne Curtis, "It’s Okay to Not Be Okay," which has already garnered significant buzz. However, rumors are swirling about a potential pairing with Kathryn Bernardo in a new project.
When asked about the rumor, Garcia admitted he’s as eager as fans to see it happen. “Sana! Pero wala pa naman nasabi sa akin. Hindi pa siya totoo, pero sana,” he said.

Reflecting on his admiration for Bernardo, Garcia fondly recalled his early days in showbiz.
“Oo naman! PBB pa lang, crush ko na 'yun eh. Parang inamin ko naman yun nun sa PBB. Parang natutulala pa ako. Malaking achievement from humahanga lang ako sa kanya to naging magkaibigan kami,” he said.
As for the genre he envisions for their potential collaboration, Garcia hopes for something emotional and heartfelt.
“Gusto ko sana drama, drama na romantic,” he said.
