MANILA -- Six years after the success of “Hintayan ng Langit” in 2018, award-winning director Dan Villegas is making his highly anticipated return to the big screen with “Uninvited.”
Director Antoinette Jadaone shared her excitement with a snippet of Villegas directing Vilma Santos-Recto for a scene.
“I see him every night studying his scenes, preparing his shots, making sure he's more than ready for the shoot the next day. Here's a convo before another take with the @rosavilmasantosrecto, who he casually directs as if she's not the iconic actress that she is. From our POV though, it's a pleasure seeing him again in a film set, that missed him so much, too. I just know 'Uninvited' will be nothing short of amazing,” she said in her Instagram post.
“Maligayang pagbabalik sa pelikula, @danvillegas. So proud of you!” she added.
Before his film comeback, Villegas directed several TV series such as "Almost Paradise" and "Replacing Chef Chico."
He also produced for other filmmakers in works like "The Missing," "Kono Basho," and "Rookie," among others.
