MANILA -- James Reid and his girlfriend Issa Pressman on Tuesday graced the special advance screening of "Lisa Frankenstein" that stars Liza Soberano, who is currently signed under Reid's Careless Management.
Also present at the red carpet event was Reid’s mother Marcela MacDonald.
Speaking to a few reporters on the sidelines, MacDonald said she is proud of what Reid has achieved throughout his career.
But when it comes to his personal life, particularly love life, she doesn’t meddle with her son.
“Sa kanyang buhay yan, not mine!” she said.

Reid’s mom also said that she has already met Pressman. “Mabait” she said, and gave a two thumbs up sign.
When asked if ‘botong-boto’ (if she approves of) Pressman, MacDonald said, “Yes po!”
According to her, with Pressman in his son's life, Reid has not changed. “Siya pa rin 'yun. James is James. Happy ako sa kanya. Whatever his decision, happy ako para sa kanya,” she said.
